WCPCA Treasurer's Report 2008

Dear West Cascade Peace Corps Association,

In the last two years, our organization has experienced the loss of our co-founder and fierce humanitarian, Beryl Brinkman yet through the trials we have experienced, we persevered, re-organized, and have grown.

Among our many achievements, we received tax exempt status as a public charity in August 2008, we established The Beryl Brinkman Memorial Fund to fund humanitarian projects at home and abroad and to date, have contributed over $26,000 in grants for humanitarian projects at home and abroad!

I know that as we continue to nurture and grow the organization, continue to volunteer in our own community and invest in Peace Corps Sponsorship humanitarian projects the world over, that we are keeping Beryl's memory alive.

I have full trust that my successor will take the reins at full speed and care and nurture the organization and continue to take the position to a higher level. It has been my absolute pleasure to serve for the past two years as your treasurer, thank you for allowing me the opportunity.
