DESCRIPTION:What is a Story Slam, you ask? A chance for you to tell a short story about an aspect of your Peace Corps experience. Sound like fun? Then join us! We encourage everyone to join in the fun and tell a story. Storytellers will have 5-7 minutes to share their Peace Corps stories with the audience. Stories can be funny or poignant, and gifts will be given. If you have a story to tell, please get in touch with Juliet Bender at 936-520-3923 or at julietbender@aol.com. Venue is Tsunami Books, 2585 Willamette Street. Please bring an appetizer, wine or beer. 
</p>We are also planning to combine this event with a silent auction fundraiser. If anyone has items for silent auction bids, please let Juliet Bender know. Thanks. The monies raised will go to Peace Corps Partnership Projects sponsored by Oregon volunteers.
